Trail Description Green Lane Park is one of three parks in Montgomery County, PA that offer trails for equestrians. The other two are Lorimer Park and Central Perkiomen Valley Park. FROM THE COUNTY'S WEBSITE: "Montgomery County offers its residents and visitors a premier trail system. The Montgomery County Department of Parks and Heritage Services is responsible for constructing and maintaining all county trails. We currently have almost 60 miles of regional county trails that connect greenways, waterways, and heritage corridors within Montgomery County and are planning to construct additional trail miles. We diligently enhance, promote, and protect these valuable natural assets. We strive to provide trail visitors with an exceptional experience while they traverse through Montgomery County on foot, bicycle, or even horseback."

Campground Covered tie stalls, hose, portapotty, lovely views, close by restuarants, two trailers per site OK at last check and dogs allowed. Showers nearby at main campground. Shady and scenic with picnic benches and BBQ grills provided.

 Easy
(Gently sloping or level terrain; trails are groomed or wide open; shallow or no creek crossings. ) 
 More Difficult (Moderate hills over consistent surface; possibly some narrow trails and short steeper slopes) 
 Rigorous (Easy to More Difficult for rider but physically challenging for horse such as on a level surface through deep sand) 
 Challenging (Possible rocky, uneven surface, steep slopes, uncleared trails, faster flowing streams and other obstacles that lead to more difficult riding for rider and horse)
